MEC, the retail real estate specialist and national market leader for the operation of retail parks, and Union Investment Real Estate are extending their cooperation in the Bethanien Center Neubrandenburg. Both companies have now concluded a contract for this purpose.
MEC has been responsible for center management in the retail park in Neubrandenburg since 2011. The Bethanien Center offers its customers over 40 shops and specialist markets on 44,000 square meters, including retailers such as Globus, Adler, OBI and Rossmann.
Just a few months ago, MEC, as the owner representative of its customer Union Investment Real Estate, brought about a statutory resolution on the development plan for the city of Neubrandenburg. This serves to secure the trading location from a planning perspective and also secures the owner's investment in the Bethanien Center Neubrandenburg in the long term.
Last year, a Globus hypermarket was acquired as a new anchor tenant. In addition, the shopping center will be equipped with an extensive, modern charging infrastructure for e-mobility in the coming months.
