New shopping gallery in EDU Duckwitz Shopping Center celebrates opening for two days

A breath of fresh air for shopping in Bremen, and fresh music on the stage. The EDU Duckwitz Shopping Center has good cause to celebrate: after a year under construction, the new shopping gallery inside the popular Bremen shopping center will be festively opened to the public. On 17 and 18 May, the center will be inviting all comers to a big opening ceremony. On both days, from 11 am to 6 pm, there will be numerous activities to attract visitors.
Die neue Shopping-Galerie folgt dem ehemaligen Fahrradmarkt Stadler, der 2017 aus dem Gebäude im EDU Einkaufspark Duckwitz ausgezogen war. Auf der rund 10.000 m² großen Verkaufsfläche entstand ein modernisierter Komplex mit einem großen Marken-, Waren- und Dienstleistungsangebot. „Zum erfolgreichen Abschluss der Projektentwicklung wird nach dem zuletzt gewonnenen Mieter DÄNISCHES BETTENLAGER noch mit einem Mieter final verhandelt, so dass die Vollvermietung zum Greifen nahe ist“, freut sich Center Manager Paul Michael. Nach der Eröffnung von H&M, New Yorker und Sportsdome folgte jetzt mit Fit/One der nächste große Einzug: auf 3.500 m² wurde ein Fitnesstempel der Extraklasse mit modernen Geräten, einer Vielzahl an Kursräumen und einem Wellnessbereich realisiert.

„Wir sind jetzt am richtigen Zeitpunkt des Lebenszyklus, um den geschaffenen Wert zu realisieren. Mit Abschluss des dritten Bauabschnittes und einer Vollvermietung mit Ankermietern wie H&M, New Yorker, Fit/One und Real, Saturn, dm und Hornbach ist der EDU Einkaufspark Duckwitz eine attraktive Handelsimmobilie für Investoren“, sagt Wolfgang Baumgartinger, Director Transactions von METRO PROPERTIES. Gefunden wurde der Investor bereits: mit der CORESTATE Group übernimmt nun ein neuer Eigentümer die erfolgreiche Immobilie.

His company will officially be taking the torch at the opening ceremony.
