MEC takes over FORUM Stein

Die MEC METRO-ECE Centermanagement GmbH & Co. KG übernimmt im November das FORUM Stein bei Nürnberg ins Portfolio. Das Mandat umfasst das komplette Leistungsangebot der MEC mit kaufmännischem und technischem Property-, Center- sowie Vermietungsmanagement.

“We are looking forward to FORUM Stein, which was only opened in 2015. One major challenge lies in expanding brand recognition, which we want to start on as quickly as possible,” explains Christian Schröder, COO of MEC.

FORUM Stein

The FORUM Stein center was opened in 2015 in the Bavarian munici-pality of Stein, 8km south of Nuremberg. It is located in the town centre, directly on the B14 highway. The interesting thing about FORUM Stein is that the historic Krügel Villa was removed before its construction, and then faithfully rebuilt in the middle of the center. Arrayed around the Villa is a designed food court 700m² in size. The 18,900m² of rental space provides accommodation for 36 shops spread over 2 floors, including the magnet tenants REWE, Drogerie Müller, MediMax, Hervis Sports, Depot, Esprit and Tom Tailor. There are 600 parking spaces available for visitors to the center.
