Strategic focus on location development

The successful leasing activities have significantly contributed to the conceptu-al further development of several retail locations, including Saarbasar (Saar-brücken), Dreieich Nordpark (Dreieich), Schlössle Galerie (Pforzheim), Ostsee Park (Rostock), and Förde Park (Flensburg). New tenants have been strategi-cally integrated to optimize the retail offering and adapt to changing customer needs.

Christian Thiele, Head of Leasing Management at MEC, explains: "The concluded lease agreements demonstrate that, despite challenging con-ditions, attractive leasing opportunities in our retail properties remain achieva-ble. The key to success lies in a well-thought-out strategy that considers both tenant requirements and the long-term development of the locations."

With its comprehensive expertise in property management and leasing, MEC is one of the leading players in the German market for retail parks. In 2025, MEC continues to focus on developing retail locations with sustainable leasing concepts, ensuring their long-term viability.
