MEC is further expanding its position as a retail real estate specialist and national market leader for retail parks: it will take over operations at EKZ Abensberg on March 1, 2024. The order comes from a real estate investment manager for whom MEC has also successfully operated two other trading locations for several years. The mandate for the shopping center includes center and leasing management. “We are very pleased about the trust that has been placed in us with the mandate,” says Christian Schröder, COO of MEC. “We see this trust as both a mandate and an incentive to professionally manage and sustainably develop the center in our common spirit.”
The center manager of the EKZ Abensberg is Michael Schüller, who has also been responsible for other MEC locations for several years. “Thanks to his years of experience in the area and responsibility for other properties in the region, he is the ideal person for the location,” says Schröder. The client is pleased about the expansion of the business relationship with the retail real estate specialist.
