MEC manages additional location with Kuhn-Center Linden

Next acquisition success for MEC: The retail property specialist and national market leader for the management of retail parks received a new mandate for the Kuhn-Center Linden on September 24, 2022.MEC was commissioned to do this by long-standing customer Nuveen Real Estate. This is already the second new Nuveen mandate within a few weeks. Because since August of this year, the Remsgalerie Schwäbisch Gmünd has also supplemented the MEC portfolio. “We are very pleased about the trust of our customer and the new order. With the additional location in Linden, our growth strategy is gaining momentum,” says Christian Schröder, COO of MEC.

Local supply center with an attractive mix of sectors

The Kuhn Center, which opened in 2010, is located in Linden near Giessen. The fully rented location with a sales area of around 10,300 m² offers customers and center visitors a comprehensive range of shops with 18 retailers. These include the anchor tenant Kaufland with TEDI, BonPrix, Apollo Optik, KIK, Ernsting's Family, JeansFritz and Deichmann. For the purpose of optimal local supply, it is supplemented by service providers such as a pharmacy, a photo studio and a hairdresser. The large, ground-level car park in front of the center with over 400 spaces ensures easy access.
