MEC operates new center in Munich-Allach: EVER.S opens on July 18th

Nach insgesamt vier Jahren Bauzeit wird das Einkaufscenter EVER.S am 18. Juli Eröffnung feiern. Das 14.300 m2 Geschossfläche umfassende Stadtteilcenter in München-Allach wurde von der MOEG GmbH entwickelt. Die MEC METRO-ECE Centermanagement GmbH & Co. KG ist ab sofort für das Centermanagement verantwortlich und wird ab 1. Oktober 2019 auch das Property Management übernehmen.

The current owner and client of EVER.S and the entire project at Oertelplatz is MOEG. With effect from October 2019, the property will be transferred to the new owner Swiss Life Deutschland, who has acquired EVER.S with the support of CORPUS SIREO Real Estate and will hold it in a long-term fund of Swiss Life Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft.

32 tenants have currently moved into the 11,500 m² shopping centre. The anchor tenants of EVER.S are the food retailer Edeka and the drugstore chain Rossmann. Together with retailers such as Ernsting's family, Kern Schuhe, Apollo Optik, Spielwaren Krömer and Gastronomy (Bäckerei Wünsche, Little Tokio, Lekkerwerk etc.) and services such as a cleaning service, pharmacy, hairdresser, shoe and locksmith service, they form a balanced branch mix. The head building of EVER.S houses the rooms of the Munich adult education centre and the old people's and service centre as well as the offices of the BKK.

Central location and 326 parking spaces

Das EVER.S liegt am Oertelplatz im Stadtteil Allach in Münchens Nordwesten. In Allach, einem der am stärksten wachsenden Münchner Stadtteile, entsteht durch die MOEG ein modernes Stadtteilzentrum mit Quartiersplatz mit einem Brunnen und Wochenmarkt, dem Bahnhofsplatz für Busse und Taxis sowie Bike & Ride Anlage und P+R Tiefgarage.

EVER.S is well connected to the transport infrastructure. Visitors can reach the new centre by S-Bahn and bus lines 160, 164 and 165. In the basement of the centre there are 326 car parking spaces, which are supplemented by 128 parking spaces in the public P&R underground car park.

The motorway access to the A8 Munich-Stuttgart is about 7 minutes away, the access to the A99 motorway ring about 5 minutes by car. The S-Bahn station Allach of the line S 2 Petershausen-Erding is located directly at the planning area. The journey to the main station takes about 15 minutes.

Shortly before EVER.S, the Stadtsparkasse also opened its building on Oertelplatz on July 17th. The Adult Education Centre Munich has already opened its premises on July 12th and started running their course schedule on 15 July.

Opening ceremonies on July 18th with many activities

In the center and on the forecourt, the opening ceremonies with numerous activities for the end consumers will take place from 9:30 a.m. onwards. "We are pleased to present the new center and invite all people from Munich and the surrounding area to get a personal impression," says EVER.S Center Manager Michael Schueller.

History of EVER.S

Das Gelände wurde im Laufe der Jahre für unterschiedliche gewerbliche Zwecke, u.a. durch die Deutsche Bundesbahn genutzt. Anfang des aktuellen Jahrzehnts von der Deutschen Bahn entwidmet, konnte das Gebiet neu entwickelt werden. Bereits Mitte 2009 wurden erste Pläne für eine Umgestaltung des Oertelplatzes und den Bau einer Einkaufspassage vorgestellt. Der 2011 abgeschlossene Ideenwettbewerb mündete im Herbst 2014 in der Satzung des Bebauungsplanes 1655a. Es entstanden das Einkaufzentrum, neun Mehrfamilien- und 25 Reihenhäuser gehobenen Standards, eine P&R-Tiefgarage und ein Stadteilzentrum. Außerdem ist eine Kindertagesstätte geplant. Das städtebauliche Konzept wird abgerundet durch die Neugestaltung des Bahnhofs- und des Quartiersplatzes mit Marktplatzfunktion.
