KGAL verlängert und erweitert Zusammenarbeit mit MEC

MEC, the retail real estate specialist and national market leader for the operation of retail parks, will continue to be responsible for the manage-ment of six retail locations in the KGAL Investment Management portfo-lio. In addition, the management of two further locations will be trans-ferred to MEC. The two companies have now signed an agreement to continue and expand their existing partnership. With the management package transferred to MEC, the Düsseldorf-based retail real estate spe-cialist operates over 130,000 m² of lettable retail space for KGAL.

The eight retail properties are regionally established retail parks that are popular with consumers. They include Erding Park in Erding, Ziel in Hen-nigsdorf, Donaumeile in Donauwörth, Zentrum Schönweide in Berlin, Activ Carré in Brackenheim, Waibl in Waiblingen, the retail park in Roth and the SeeRhein Center in Konstanz. All locations have a mature tenant structure consisting of well-known retail companies. These include retail-ers such as Kaufland, Deichmann, dm and C&A.

"Team MEC is proud that we have once again been able to convince our long-standing client KGAL of the quality of our services as a specialist in the operation of retail properties. This success is thanks to our employ-ees, who deliver top performance for retail real estate every day," says Christian Schröder, COO of MEC, looking forward to further cooperation in the long-standing business relationship. André Zücker, Managing Di-rector of KGAL Investment Management, adds: "With MEC, we have decided to continue a cooperation based on trust and continuity. Thanks to its expertise and interdisciplinary services, the company is the right partner for us to further develop our investments in successful retail properties."
