Center Manager: exchange between North and East

Ralf Müller

Manager exchange between Flensburg/Neumünster and Schwedt an der Oder: two MEC METRO-ECE Centermanagement GmbH & Co. KG managers swopped their area of operation as of 1 April. Ralf Müller (46), who previously managed the Förde Park in Flensburg and the Freesen Center in Neumünster, is now taking over the management of the Oder-Center in Schwedt, while Norbert Fels (48) is taking over Müller’s position in the far north.

Ralf Müller, who is originally from the Brandenburg area, has been living in Neubrandenburg for a long time and now wants to work in his home area for family reasons. He is looking forward to this new challenge. Prior to his move to Northern Germany in the beginning of 2012 in order to take over the Förde Park – which is double the size of the Oder-Center – he has managed the Bethanien Center Neubrandenburg for twelve years.

Norbert Fels

Norbert Fels, who has vacated his place for Müller, and is taking over his function in the two Northern German shopping centers, has managed the Oder-Center for four years. As former manager of the Thüringen Park in Erfurt and the Bremer Roland Center, he contributed to an impressive economic upturn of the shopping center in Schwedt. The profits reached record highs. Fels, who was responsible for the restructuring of the building, set the course for the next leasing phase and developed the Oder-Center into a popular meeting place in the region.
