The firm MEC METRO-ECE Centermanagement GmbH &amp; Co. KG has been commissioned with the letting process.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Saturn, dm, Thalia and Street Kitchen have already been confirmed as tenants<\/b><\/strong><br \/>\nAt the beginning of July the converted and modernised Real in Duckwitzstra\u00dfe in Bremen was opened. The new hypermarket stands out in the rear section of the building with its modern design covering a reduced area. The good 10,000 m\u00b2 which have been freed up are to be laid out again and divided up into flexibly divisible rental areas. Extensive investigations, as well as consumer and tenant surveys, have shown that the local shopping facilities at the location are good, although there are gaps in the offers available, such as clothing suppliers and a drugstore. Chains such as Saturn, dm-drogerie markt, Siemes Schuh Center, Mister &amp; Lady and Thalia have already signed their tenancy contracts. Furthermore, a row of food and catering establishments with modern concepts such as Street Kitchen, Feinkost Oase and Curry Lounge will be opened opposite Real.<br \/>\n\"We are confident that we will have leased all areas on time. Currently we are still lacking a textile shop, an ice cream parlour and a catering establishment to complete the industry mix,\" says the Leasing Manager in charge at MEC, Carine Beaugendre.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Reopening in the spring of 2016<\/b><\/strong><br \/>\nIn the current second stage of construction, the fa\u00e7ade is being redesigned in addition to the entrance area. The more than 750 customer parking spaces are being widened for the purposes of the new METRO PROPERTIES-wide concept \"Parking for People\" and provided with double borderlines. The larger parking spaces are in line with the requirements of modern cars and will ensure faster and more convenient parking in the future.<br \/>\nThe retail park should be ready by the spring of 2016 with a varied and attractive mixture of tenants. For the reopening the center will receive a modern branding and advertising concept.
