Its latest customer is the investment company CORESTATE Capital Investors (Europe), based in Frankfurt am Main and represented in eleven countries.<\/p>\n<p>CORESTATE has commissioned MEC with the continuation of the center management of two retail parks in Northern Germany - the NordseePassage Wilhelmshaven and the Einkaufspark Duckwitz in Bremen. The full mandate for the two shopping centers comprises the one-stop support tailored to the requirements of asset management - Center Management, Commercial Property Management including Key Account Management, Technical Property Management and Leasing Management.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the asset management company M&amp;G Real Estate with its German headquarters in Frankfurt am Main has extended its mandate for Dreieich Nordpark. The Center Management, for which MEC has been responsible since 2013, includes the full mandate with tailor-made support from one source for the areas of Development, Center Management, Commercial Property Management including Key Account Management, Technical Property Management (currently with a roof renovation) and Leasing Management.<\/p>\n<p>\"We are very pleased about the trust that our customers place in us with these mandates,\" says Christian Schr\u00f6der, Managing Director (COO) of MEC. \"We see this trust both as a mandate and as an incentive to professionally manage the centers in our common interest and to develop them further in a sustainable manner. The Chief Operating Officer of MEC sees common values for business success such as security, sustainability and growth as the basis of the cooperation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the MEC Centers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The <b>NordseePassage<\/b>, the only shopping center in Wilhelmshaven in Lower Saxony and under MEC management since mid-2017, is centrally located in the city centre just a few metres from the pedestrian zone. On 28,000m\u00b2, visitors will find around 50 shops from the fashion, electronics, drugstore articles, food, gastronomy and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The <b>Einkaufspark Duckwitz<\/b> in Bremer Neustadt, a double mall, which has been managed by MEC since October 2011, comprises around 40 shops on a rental area of almost 50,000m\u00b2. These include Real, Saturn, dm-drogerie markt, Woolworth and McDonald's, but also many service providers and innovative gastronomy concepts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><b>Dreieich Nordpark<\/b> is conveniently located around ten kilometres south of Frankfurt am Main, close to the A661 and A3 motorways. On a rental area of around 23,500m\u00b2, the shopping center with 18 specialist stores and shops offers all the products of daily use under one roof. The two largest tenants in Nordpark are the Real hypermarket and the Decathlon sports specialist store.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><b>Picture<\/b>: One of the three MEC mandates now extended is the NordseePassage, the only shopping center in Wilhelmshaven in Lower Saxony.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MEC is further expanding its position as national market leader for retail parks.
